Lab Extensions

JupyterLab supports a variety of extensions that enhance functionality and improve workflow. While we focus on providing extensions for JupyterLab, you can still install extensions for the classic Jupyter Notebook in user mode using pip with the –user flag.

We provide a selection of well-known, mature extensions that are installed and enabled by default:

Request for new extensions

If you would like a new extension to be added, please send your request to support@dkrz.de. Each request will be reviewed, and we will decide whether it can be installed.

Note

For security and performance reasons, we cannot review or install all third-party extensions.
